Refund & Returns Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns and refunds work for purchases made from Dog-Bandanas.co.uk.
We distinguish between:

  • Pre-printed dog bandanas (stock items)

  • Custom printed dog bandanas (bespoke items)
     

2. Pre-printed dog bandanas (stock items) – 14-day returns
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your purchase of pre-printed bandanas held in stock within 14 days of receiving your order, in line with UK consumer law.
Conditions:

  • You must notify us of your wish to return within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed and in a resellable condition, with any original packaging where possible.

  • You are responsible for the cost of return postage, unless we have sent the wrong item or it is faulty.
     

How to return:

  1. Email us at customdogbandanasuk@gmail.com with your order number, items you wish to return, and reason.

  2. We will confirm the return address and any reference details.

  3. Send the items back using a tracked service and keep proof of postage.
     

Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will:

  • Issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods; or

  • Contact you if there is any issue with the condition of the returned items.

Original shipping costs (if any) may be refunded in accordance with UK consumer law (usually the cost of the standard delivery option).
 
3. Custom printed dog bandanas (bespoke items)
Custom printed dog bandanas are made to your specification and are classed as bespoke or personalised goods under UK law.
For this reason, custom printed bandanas are not eligible for refunds, returns or exchanges, unless:

  • There is a manufacturing defect, or

  • We have made an error (e.g. wrong design, colours, or quantity compared to your approved order).
     

If there is a problem with a custom item:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the problem.

  3. We will review and, if we agree there is a defect or error, we will offer either:

    • A replacement of the affected items, or

    • A refund for the affected items.

We may ask you to return the defective items, in which case we will cover reasonable return postage costs.
 
4. Damaged or faulty items (all products)
If any item (pre-printed or custom) arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Contact us as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days from receipt.

  • Include your order number, details of the issue and photos.

If we confirm the item is faulty or damaged, we will:

  • Offer a replacement, repair or refund, and

  • Cover return postage if we ask for the item to be sent back.
     

5. Non-returnable situations
We may not be able to refund or replace items if:

  • Damage or defects are caused by misuse, neglect, improper care or normal wear and tear.

  • You have provided incorrect information for a custom design (e.g. spelling errors in text you supplied).

  • You contact us outside the specified timeframes without good reason.
     

6. Processing refunds
Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, but we aim to issue refunds within 14 days of approving your refund or receiving returned goods.
